“MATERIAL TRANSHOOD//  ULTRASOUNDS FROM HOME” is a digital magazine that documents a small collection of clothing pieces made by, for, and of myself. The pieces showcased within the magazine are all made from previously used articles of clothing, mainly featuring clothes that were previously part of work uniforms. Items such as work boots are turned into everything from chokers to corset tops. Thematically, the magazine and collection focus on the trans body, class, and materiality. The clothing is transitioned from a tool for labor into an item of comfort that questions what is considered luxurious, desirable, and why that is so.
