Shifting perspective of the Mundane.

“I wish there was a way to know you’re in the good old days before you’ve actually left them.”

As I entered my last quarter at UCLA, I realized that I have stayed very much the same through my 4 years. I felt as if I had little growth as a person and as an artist. However upon further reflection, the time I have spent in UCLA and my experiences culminate to make me the person I am. The mundane-ness of my daily life, the continuous cycle that I live by, adds up to something more than the sum of its parts.

In my piece I wish to convey that sense of looking back at my past experiences and shifting the lens of how I view myself. The mundane and unassuming parts of my past are actually important and cherished memories that shape who I am today.
